Dear Physics 129L students,

a few of you have asked me if it is possible to download the examples 
that I showed in class without updating the rpi.  This could be 
handy if you do not have immediate access to the rpi on the network,
or if you want to look at or run the examples on your laptop.

The answer is YES,

The examples can be always downloaded as

http://hep.ucsb.edu/people/claudio/ph129-w19/campagnari.tgz

Note: tgz files can be unpacked in unix with

unix> tar xvfz fileName.tgz

On Mac OS you can do the same thing from a terminal window, or
you can just double click on the file icon.

On  Windows you can use Wizip or 7zip.

Note: most homework solutions will also be posted in tgz format.
