Dear Physics 129L students

Here is some information about the upcoming class.

The 2nd point is VERY important, so make sure to read this
mail carefully.

(1) We will not be using Gaucho Space.  Instead, the website 
    for this class is 
    http://hep.ucsb.edu/people/claudio/ph129-w19/

(2) You will need to buy a small computer for this class (Raspberry Pi).
    It is not very expensive, but
    YOU NEED TO DO THIS BEFORE THE FIRST CLASS.  
    Details are spelled out in the website above.  
    Read carefully.

(3) The seating in Broida 5223 is limited, and this class was 
    oversubscribed.  To accomodate everybody, I will be lecturing
    twice (MW 12:45-2:00 and MW 2:00-3:15).  For technical reasons
    these two lecture sections look like two different courses
    in Gold.  But everything will be the same.
    Also, for technical reason the 2:00-3:15 lecture is much
    more crowded than the 12:45-2:00 lecture.

    It would be great is some of the students enrolled in the 
    2:00-3:15 section would come to the 12:45-2:00 section 
    instead.  If you want to do this, please let me know by 
    sending a message to claudio@physics.ucsb.edu with
    subject line: [phys129] would like to come to 12:45 lecture instead
    (I am asking for this information because if too many students
    come at 12:45 we will not be able to accomodate them).

    OTOH, if you are enrolled in the 12:45-2:00 lecture, 
    DO NOT COME to the 2:00-3:15 lecture.
